Biogroupe, a “Dog-Friendly” company!

Biogroupe did not wait for pets in the workplace to be a CSR and recruitment argument to welcome our four-legged friends. For a long time, the company has seen, only in its administrative premises, friendly (sociable) balls of fur of all sizes. This practice has many advantages:

• It allows employees to come serenely with their pet instead of leaving it alone for a whole day (less stress for the owner, less absenteeism, no loneliness for the animal).
• It allows those who do not have one to enjoy their presence without constraints
• It reduces stress and soothes tensions
• It is a wonderful vector of connections between colleagues

Last week, one of our mascots - Joyce - was in our offices as usual. And suddenly, she started convulsing and could no longer breathe. René and Kévin, two employees from our maintenance department, were right next door at that moment. They didn't think twice and did the right thing calmly. Joyce actually had a stroke (and yes, it can happen to animals too). Without their intervention and their composure, she wouldn't be here anymore. She could have had this stroke at her owner's home, but fortunately, she came to the office and was saved.

Being able to bring your dog to your workplace also allows you to discover employees in a different light, with their empathy, kindness and heroism, and to unite the members of the same team. And yes, Joyce's owner works in the same department as our two heroes of the day.
