To create the "Ferments" range, Biogroupe has teamed up with the expertise of Alsatian sauerkraut maker Meyer Wagner since 1900, to offer lacto-fermented vegetables with incomparable nutritional and taste benefits. 100% organic and vegan, they provide a supply of fiber, vitamins, minerals and are easier to digest than raw vegetables.
The common desire is to create healthy, balanced and delicious recipes. They are made using an ancestral natural fermentation process that releases raw and fresh vegetables from their nutritional benefits by putting them in contact with salt and depriving them of oxygen. Rich in vitamins (C and B in particular) and minerals, they are more digestible than raw vegetables because they are "pre-digested" by enzymes, themselves sources of pre- and probiotics as well as fiber.
Crunchy in the mouth, they brighten the taste buds with their fresh and tangy notes and vary the pleasures in cooking. In pickles or toasts for an aperitif, they accompany a savory tart and give pep to salads, sandwiches and bowls. Available in small (170 to 180g), the “Ferments” are distributed in stores and organic store networks.
